The original ending had no virus, and Mort threw the computer out of the library window. Dave then pinned the blame on another group at the library so our boys could have stayed there. The bit at the end with them pinning the blame on someone else didn't make sense to me after I wrote it out, but it could have made for a fun second part where they try to defend themselves in a court-like scenario at the library.
